They stood and they cheered
And pointed and jeered
As if they got rid of
Everything that they feared
“It may take us ten
It make take some more
We’ll get him,” they said
“We’ll settle the score!”
They praised our forces
With “Sure!” and “Of courses!”
We all had a plan
Our eyes on the man!
Our wisdom, our skill
All led to the kill!
And now we forget
The sweat and the fret?
And think that it’s gone
The terrorist threat?
They’ll smash down one weasel
A new one shall pop
Does anyone think
That this madness shall stop?
But until the next one
We’ll beat our chest
And rant and then rave
America‘s best!
Oh how we forget
With these sort of things
That Someone upstairs
Is pulling the strings
And though we may shine
And think it’s our day
There’s always tomorrow
Just don’t stop to pray
That all of his ilk
Shall just fade away
And peace will descend
Upon us one day
As Moshiach Tzidkeinu
Will soon come our way
