Mikey has had an unexpected complication with his heart. He has to go back to Stanford in June – 6 months early- to prevent an emergent situation.
This is quite unexpected as we were told they wouldn’t need to see him until his one year check up.
Flights & accommodations are expensive. We are optimistic it will be a short admission but everything adds up quickly including time away from work even if it’s just a few days.
If you are inclined and able to help, we would be so grateful. It’s a difficult journey with lots of road bumps.
