Bombshell Evidence of Conspiracy Discovered in Sealed FBI Room
The fast-spiraling Russia-gate scandal reads like a spy thriller, with new revelations dropping almost every day.
The saga was catapulted to new heights on Monday when Attorney General Pam Bondi signed an order for a federal prosecutor to bring evidence of conspiracy against Donald Trump to a grand jury, with the aim of securing potential indictments, a Fox News report said.
The Department of Justice (DOJ) confirmed two weeks ago it received a criminal referral from Director of National Intelligence (DNI) Tulsi Gabbard, although no charges have been brought against any defendants at this stage.
Gabbard last month declassified hundreds of documents from 2016-2022 that she said bore evidence of an Obama-directed “treasonous conspiracy” to undermine the candidacy of Donald Trump and later his presidency.
Former President Barack Obama and his intelligence officials allegedly promoted a “contrived narrative that Russia interfered in the 2016 election to help President Trump win, selling it to the American people as though it were true. It was not,” Gabbard said during a press briefing.
She cited the minutes of a top-secret meeting contained in the classified material which suggested the alleged conspiracy involved the heads of national intelligence agencies; former FBI Director James Comey, former DNI director James Clapper and former CIA director John Brennan among others.
These officials are said to have crafted a fabricated intelligence assessment, at Obama’s direction, alleging Russian election interference. Their narrative sharply contradicted an earlier consensus among key intelligence agencies following the 2016 presidential election—that Russia had no intent or capacity to carry out any significant election interference.
Obama essentially directed the agency heads to rewrite the assessment, as part of an alleged ploy to tie Trump to the Russian interference.
According to one of the most significant declassified documents released by Gabbard, a 2020 House Select Committee report, CIA director John Brennan handpicked five loyalist CIA analysts to craft the new intelligence assessment, rushing its production to beat the clock before Trump took the oath of office.
The last-minute revision utilized the notorious Steele Dossier—since exposed as wholly fraudulent —in an attempt to frame Donald Trump as a Russian asset.
The once top-secret documents that exposed this anti-Trump conspiracy were hidden for years, Gabbard said. “Deep State actors didn’t want Trump-Russia information to see the light of day.”
Based on the evidence of malfeasance in the declassified documents, Gabbard announced two weeks ago that she had made criminal referrals to the DOJ and expected there would be indictments.
A DOJ spokesperson said Bondi is taking the referral from Gabbard “very seriously.” The spokesperson said Bondi believed there is “clear cause for deep concern” and a need for next steps.
The documents were made public after Attorney General Bondi, FBI Director Patel, and others in the intelligence community approved their release following a request from Sen. Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa.
Grassley issued a statement saying, “These intelligence reports and related records, whether true or false, were buried for years. History will show that the Obama and Biden administration’s law enforcement and intelligence agencies were weaponized against President Trump.”
“This political weaponization has caused critical damage to our institutions and is one of the biggest political scandals and cover-ups in American history,” the senator continued. “The new Trump administration has a tremendous responsibility to the American people to fix the damage done and do so with maximum speed and transparency.”
The Counterfeit Dossier
Citing “overwhelming evidence” that Obama and his national security team “manufactured and politicized intelligence” following Trump’s 2016 victory, DNI Gabbard cited the Steele Dossier, a fabricated report alleging Trump-Russia ties, as a key example or weaponized intelligence.
The Clinton campaign and the DNC funded the Steele Dossier, a collection of reports compiled by former British intelligence officer Christopher Steele in 2016, containing unverified allegations about Donald Trump’s personal life and his ties to Russia.
A summary of the dossier was included in the top-secret Annex to US Attorney John H. Durham’s final report on the Russia collusion hoax; the counterfeit document is said to have formed the basis for the revised 2017 intelligence assessment by Comey, Clapper and Brennan that laid the groundwork for the Russia hoax.
This is despite documented evidence that intelligence officials regarded it as unreliable and unfounded, and had to be pressured into signing on to using it as part of their intelligence assessment.
The dossier was later discredited, with FBI analyst Brian Auten remarking in October 2022 that the FBI offered Steele $1 million to verify the dossier, according to conservative columnist Greg Garrett recapping the incident on Fox News. Steele was either unable or unwilling to do so.
For years, Democrats and former top-ranking Obama intelligence officers categorically denied that the Steele dossier played any role in the rushed January 2017 intelligence community assessment (ICA) commissioned by Obama before he left office.
Brennan, for instance, testified to Congress in 2023, as part of an exchange with then Rep. Matt Gaetz R-FL, that he was “not involved in analyzing the dossier” and that the “CIA was not involved at all with the dossier.”
Brennan had said the same thing in a 2017 House hearing, where he also denied using the dossier for any intelligence assessments.
These denials, made under oath, are impossible to reconcile with some of the damning evidence released by Gabbard, in the form of declassified minutes of meetings, letters, texts and emails.
The Trump Justice Department is undoubtedly aware that the statute of limitations for perjury is five years. However, legal experts note that in cases involving a cover-up, the clock doesn’t necessarily start at the time the crime occurred.

In the meantime, Bondi and Patel have emphasized that making the documents and evidence public “is vital to restoring faith in federal institutions and demanding accountability.”
“This Department of Justice, alongside the CIA, is committed to truth and transparency and will continue to support good-faith efforts by Congress to hold our government accountable,” Bondi said.
Patel added, “The American people deserve the full, unfiltered truth about the Russia collusion hoax and the political abuse of our justice system it exposed. Today’s declassification and release of documents tied to the Durham report is another step toward that accountability.”
Top-Secret ‘Annex’
The “Annex”—a sealed 306-page attachment to the Durham Report withheld from public release—was reportedly discovered among the classified burn bags. It contains top-secret intelligence said to underpin Durham’s most critical findings.
Among its explosive revelations is evidence that Hillary Clinton orchestrated a scheme—codenamed the “Clinton Intelligence Plan”—allegedly enlisting the FBI to help frame Donald Trump as a Russian asset in order to sabotage his 2016 campaign.
The scheme’s foremost objective was to deflect growing public scrutiny of Hillary Clinton’s email scandal. This concerned a potential legal violation arising from Clinton’s use of her private email server for sensitive government communications during her tenure as secretary of state under the Obama administration.
A few months later, when Trump shocked the conspirators by actually winning the election — they took the Russia-gate distraction operation and turned it into an engine of resistance. It then became an effort aimed at crippling Trump’s presidency by portraying him as a criminal and traitor.
The goal was to impeach him, eject him from office, prosecute him and send him to jail for life.
The secret Annex is heavily redacted. Experts say it must have taken weeks of wrangling with a half dozen federal agencies to agree on final redactions, suggesting that the Trump administration is coordinating a controlled release of the declassified documents.
This may be part of a broader strategy—to prepare the public for the arrest of previously untouchable” figures, by gradually releasing a flood of evidence that will make the notion of accountability not only acceptable but necessary.
Incriminating Memos
Newly released intelligence in the FBI and DNI documents dump include two memos that the Obama administration received in the months leading up to the presidential election.
The memos detail covert conversations revolving around a strategy to push the narrative that “Putin supports Trump” and to manipulate public perception into conflating that storyline with alleged efforts by Russia to hack the U.S. election system.
One of the memos stated: “Clinton approved a plan proposed by one of her foreign policy advisors, Julianne Smith, to ‘smear Donald Trump by magnifying the scandal tied to the intrusion by the Russian special services in the pre-election process to benefit the Republican candidate.’”
A startling communication dated July 27, 2016, read: “HRC (Hillary Rodham Clinton) approved Julia’s idea about Trump and Russian hackers hampering U.S. elections. That should distract people from her own missing email, especially if the affair goes to the Olympic level.”
The same message noted, “The point is making the Russian play a U.S. domestic issue. In absence of direct evidence, Crowdstrike and ThreatConnect (cyber companies hired by the Clinton campaign) will disseminate the information through U.S. publications.”
Another memo elaborated on strategies guiding the campaign’s approach: “A two-prong DP [Democratic Party] opposition is focused on discrediting Trump…. Among other things, the Clinton staff, with support from special services, is preparing scandalous revelations of business relations between Trump and the ‘Russian Mafia.’”
Leonard Bernardo, a senior executive at the Open Society Foundations, owned by radical left-wing billionaire George Soros, was reportedly included in the coordination of the campaign.
One of Bernardo’s emails outlines the strategy for spreading false information about the Russia-Trump collusion:
“During the first stage of the campaign, due to lack of direct evidence, it was decided to disseminate the necessary information through the FBI-affiliated technical structures … in particular, the Crowdstrike and ThreatConnect companies, from where the information would then be disseminated through leading U.S. publications.”
Another Bernardo message alluded to anticipated collusion with the FBI. “The media analysis on the DNC (Democratic National Committee) hacking appears solid,” the message said, and added, “Julie says it will be a long-term affair to demonize Putin and Trump. Now it is good for a post-convention bounce. Later the FBI will put more oil into the fire.”
Yet another telltale document came in the form of a letter from Bernardo a few days later, which appears to endorse Julie’s plan for a long-term affair to demonize Putin and Trump.
The media propaganda strategy succeeded brilliantly. For over two years, well into Trump’s first presidency, a Democratic controlled media pumped out hundreds of articles reinforcing the Russia collusion hoax until a sizable percentage of Americans believed the story.
Fracturing of Trust
“It is impossible to overstate the destructive long-term effect of the Russia-gate affair on American politics,” writes Newsweek editorialist Joshua Hammer. “It was the first of a crippling string of events that have done unfathomable damage to Americans’ trust in federal institutions.
In the wake of Russia-gate came a series of so-called “conspiracies” that have since been vindicated: the belief that Covid-19 lockdowns and vaccine mandates lacked scientific basis; that the virus likely originated in the Wuhan lab; and that natural immunity from prior infection offers stronger protection than the vaccines.
Other so-called “conspiracy theories” later confirmed under the Trump administration involve serious abuses of power by the Biden White House—including its collusion with social media platforms and mainstream media to bury the Hunter Biden laptop story, as well as its orchestrated efforts to conceal President Biden’s cognitive decline from the public.
This seemingly endless string of deceptions, ruses and gaslighting has further eroded public trust in federal institutions.
“If anyone is still wondering why disdain for power elites is so ascendant across the political spectrum in 2025,” the author writes, “the answer begins with Russia-gate.”

“Burn Bags” With Top-Secret Documents
The Justice Department’s announcement of a grand jury in the Russia-gate investigation came on the heels of a bombshell revelation at the FBI last Thursday.
FBI Director Kash Patel disclosed the discovery of a sealed room inside FBI headquarters containing “burn bags” stuffed with top-secret documents awaiting incineration.
According to Fox News, Patel said the materials support allegations of a conspiracy led by former President Obama—one that appears to have weaponized multiple branches of the federal government to target Donald Trump.
“We just uncovered burn bags inside a room filled with secret Russia-gate files, including the Durham Annex (a never-before seen 306-page section of the John Durham report about the Russia-Trump allegations). We’ve just declassified them,” Patel announced. “I’ve released the prior FBI’s own secret documents and exposed the truth.”
“The same media that called me a liar in 2017, when I proved the Russia-Trump allegations were a hoax—that the Steele Dossier was fictitious, weaponized by FBI officials to unlawfully spy on Trump’s campaign—the same media is calling me a liar again,” Patel continued.
“I wouldn’t want to deprive the fake news of any more bogus Pulitzers,” the FBI director quipped sarcastically, taking aim at the Washington Post and New York Times for their 2018 awards celebrating coverage of the so-called Trump-Russia “collusion.”
“But with more documents about to drop from FBI headquarters,” Patel added, “the truth—and the liars—are about to be exposed.”
The mystery of how the burn bags were found intact—someone obviously secured them and prevented their incineration—has prompted a great deal of speculation.
It is unlikely Patel simply stumbled across the sealed room by chance. The notion that he conducted a random sweep of the vast FBI Hoover Building and just happened upon burn bags filled with classified documents strains belief. More likely, someone told him exactly where to look.
Probably only a very small number of people knew the documents existed. It’s plausible that sometime after Durham issued his report, one or more of the alleged conspirators decided to destroy the incriminating Annex, but one of the key players thwarted the plan and hid the bags.
Maybe he did so for self-protection in the event of a scenario like the one playing out right now. Or maybe for blackmail or some other reason.
If that’s the case, it suggests a key conspirator has flipped—and the cover-up is unraveling. With the conspiracy collapsing from within, it’s now every man for himself, which means even more explosive revelations may be just around the corner.

Statute of Limitations Clock is ‘Reset’ When New Evidence Discovered
Legal experts say that the actions of key figures such as Clinton, the DNC, Obama underlings and George Soros officials may have inadvertently extended the statute of limitations for potential criminal prosecution.
“The cover-up has been ongoing for years, which extends the statute of limitations in any criminal conspiracy case. The clock actually starts ticking when deliberately concealed evidence is discovered, which is recently,” conservative columnist and attorney Greg Jarrett told Evening Edit host Elizabeth MacDonald.
Jarrett said that if the FBI were to discover incriminating documents hidden by former FBI Director James Comey, such attempts to conceal or destroy evidence would constitute obstruction of justice and reset the statute of limitations.
“So, for example, the new FBI under Kash Patel just discovered incriminating documents in burn bags hidden at the FBI. They found hard drives squirreled away under lock and key by Comey. Attempting to conceal or destroy evidence relevant to investigations would constitute obstruction. And the last overt act in the conspiracy starts the clock anew,” Jarrett said.
Russia-gate, he added, could qualify as a wide-ranging criminal conspiracy. “I think it constitutes a broad criminal conspiracy by a great many corrupt actors. And I would look at defrauding the government and, most importantly, obstruction of justice.”
Others speculate that it is entirely possible that justice for Russia-gate actors may arrive in an expected form—not with handcuffs, mug shots and prison cells.
“A kind of political justice has already been delivered—the ongoing political repudiation of Obama’s legacy, and the historic unpopularity of his scandal-ridden political party at this moment,” commented David Bossie, president of Citizens Unite.
“And most ironically, the man who has delivered that justice? The original victim of Russia-gate, Donald Trump.”
